Dr. Papaioannou
Dr. Papaioannou is a Professor of Medicine (Division of Geriatrics & Rheumatology and Department of HEI) at McMaster University, a Geriatric Medicine Specialist at Hamilton Health Sciences, and Executive Director of the GERAS Centre for Aging Research. She is a Tier 1 Canadian Research Chair in Geriatric Medicine and Healthy Aging and a national and international leader in geriatric medicine research. Dr. Papaioannou’s work focuses on developing care models and programs that improve patient care and quality of life for older adults, particularly those living with frailty or multi-complexity.
