Juravinski Research Institute
Thanks to Charles and Margaret Juravinski, leading experts from Hamilton have funding to support important research projects.

Juravinski Research Institute

The Juravinski Research Institute was created through an endowment of more than $100 million by Hamilton philanthropists, Charles and Margaret Juravinski.

The Institute is a collaboration between Hamilton Health Sciences; McMaster University; St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation Hamilton; and Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation.

The Centre supports areas of research including cancer, mental health, lung health/respirology and diseases of aging (e.g. Alzheimer’s disease and macular degeneration).
