Our Door-to-Door program was designed to reach out to people in communities across the region who would like to support Hamilton Health Sciences including Hamilton General Hospital, Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, McMaster Children’s Hospital, McMaster University Medical Centre and St. Peter’s Hospital and their associated programs. The primary focus of the Door-to-Door program is to acquire monthly donors.
Monthly donors acquired through the Door-to-Door program support the highest priority needs of the hospital. Funds raised through our monthly giving programs can support a specific hospital site or The Foundation as a whole and are designated to support our highest priority needs to ensure excellence in patient care. Monthly giving is the most cost-effective way to support Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation, and offers donors the greatest flexibility in terms of methods of payment.
We have partnered with Public Outreach, an organization dedicated to face-to-face fundraising. Our canvassers are paid fundraisers and are compensated through an hourly wage with no commission. They receive training which allows them to speak on behalf of Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation and our mission and fundraising priorities.
