HAMILTON, ON – August 5, 2020: Lori R. from Hamilton (unofficial ticket number: A-5631895) and Rita B. from Hamilton (unofficial ticket number: A-3250927) are the winners of Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation’s 50/50 Inspiration Lottery early-bird draw. Lori and Rita each won a $500 “all-Canadian” gift-card package on July 30. Tickets for the grand-prize jackpot can be purchased online at inspirationlottery.ca until August 30.
The Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation 50/50 Inspiration Lottery was launched on July 6. Fifty per cent of the proceeds will support highest-priority needs at Hamilton Health Sciences and the other 50 per cent will be awarded to one lucky winner. The lottery is open to residents of Ontario over the age of 18.
The winner of the grand prize will be announced on August 31. The deadline to purchase tickets is Sunday, August 30 at 11:59 p.m.
The money raised will enable Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation to fund highest-priority needs across Hamilton Health Sciences, including Hamilton General Hospital, Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, McMaster Children’s Hospital, St. Peter’s Hospital and all of its associated programs. This includes the purchase of vital medical equipment, which is not funded by the government.
