Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Foundation, as part of Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation, is focused on raising funds in support of Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre and its programs. The Foundation provides funding for leading-edge equipment and patient amenities, innovative research initiatives, redevelopment of patient care spaces, and the education and training of health care providers.

Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Foundation supports specialized cancer and orthopedic programs. As a foundation, we are focused on enabling outstanding patient care through our goal of Health Care, Transformed.

Hospital Unit Renamed in Honour of SC Johnson

In recognition of SC Johnson’s nearly 30 years of support and more than $1.2 million donated, the Medical Diagnostic Unit at Juravinski Hospital was renamed the “SC Johnson Medical Diagnostic Unit” on November 7.

Inaugural Illuminight Exceeds Fundraising Goal

The inaugural Illuminight raised $177,800 (and counting), which exceeded the $150,000 fundraising goal.

Targeting Cancer with Radiation Therapy

Approximately 4,500 new radiation therapy cases are treated annually at Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, which provides specialized cancer treatment for patients from communities throughout south-central Ontario.

  • as home to the Regional Cancer Program, the largest combined volume of chemotherapy visits in Ontario is overseen by Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre
